Oh the joy Lord since I've first known you,
since I found your love for me is true.

To be assured that I am loved for who I am,
and it's been this way since before time began.

The days somehow seem brighter than before,
I never feel overcome by life anymore.

There's hope where once there was nothing but dread,
I can claim any promise in the Bible that I've read.

Everything has this wonderful new hue,
since the very first day I accepted You.

I'm changing as through this life you walk with me,
You've done it all Lord and I give Praise to Thee.

I look forward to each new step of the way,
