Heavenly Father I present to You this heartfelt plea,
please watch over this child forming inside of me.

As this child is being formed within my womb,
please don't allow old fears my mind to consume.

Please form it's body with love and care,
and please make sure each and every part is there.

Please give my child a strong heart filled with love,
and a constant awareness that You are above.

Please may my child speak words of God's great glory,
and always proclaim the great salvation story.

May my child hear Your still small voice each day,
and listen to others in the same loving way.

Give my child legs strong enough to walk over the roads of life,
and quick enough to avoid all strife.

Fill my child with joy and curiosity,
and may all of their life be devoted to serving Thee.

Please give me enough faith to trust You all the way,
and when fears sneak in, to give them to You as I pray.

"Peace That Passeth Understanding" is what I need,
may I  receive it as Thy scriptures I read.

May I see Your love in everything that comes my way,
and give thanks for them all as I kneel to pray.

May praises of You fall lovingly from my lips each hour,
may I constantly remember Your awesome power.

Thank You Father for this precious new life being formed in me,
I am grateful now and will be throughout eternity.

I can tell You this one thing for sure,
I can't wait to hold this child whom I love and adore.
