| My Unseen
Friend by Barbara Philbrook We haven't
glanced into each other's eyes as yet, I haven't
heard the sound your voice makes, I haven't
observed the way you walk or play or dress, I haven't
wiped your brow when you had a very high fever, I know
when you needed a Hug I wasn't right there, The times
when it was me who was most in need of a friend, It is in
the giving and the taking that friendships are formed you
see, Let's face
it my friend our faces don't really matter at all, Knowing
that just as we are loved by our Precious Savior, For we are
each weird in our own special way, My friends
are reminders of how much God loves me, They get
me through the trials I face, Thank you
so much for being my unseen friend, |
