The years together have brought me joy,
and maybe a thing or two that annoy.

The years together have gone too fast.
I can't believe so many years have passed.

You've been a partner as well as a friend.
We still kiss good night at each day's end.

Through many sicknesses and trials,
that we were meant to be together, there are no denials.

Together we raised our four children,
but we'd quickly decline if asked to start again.

All this time brought no shame or regret.
When asked if we'll stay together, we'd shout "You bet!"

When we're called home and on the other side,
we'll introduce each other with love and pride.

The years together have been a tremendous pleasure.
