Loving Jesus

I love Jesus and He loves me,
He died so I could live for eternity.
So my salvation would not be lost,
He willingly hung on the cross.

God knew before creation began,
that He needed a salvation plan.
He knew man was prone to be lost,
and willingly paid the very high cost.

Jesus wiped out all our transgressions,
before we even voiced our confessions.
Each one calling is definitely heard,
you can verify this in the Holy Word.

Believe in Jesus invite Him within,
then the changing in you too will begin.
You'll hungrily aspire to serve,
because His love is more than we deserve.
