Lord I ask You to close my eyes that I may not see,
anything that would discourage me.

Please effectively block my ears,
that I will not hear anything that causes fears.

Seal my eyes that they may not shed,
tears brought on by sadness or dread.

Block all feelings within me,
that I will not be harmed by adversity.

Open my eyes to the beauty and love,
sent to us from Heaven above.

Make my ears hear Your still small voice,
and give discernment so I can make the right choice.

Let the tears of joy and exultation,
flow freely so others can see my jubilation.

Make me sensitive to other's needs and hurts,
and all the time sensitive not just in spurts.

I'm asking that the negative in life not effect me,
and that the positive and good I pass on abundantly.

May others see You, Your love, and what it's done,
since I accepted salvation from Your Son.

Lord I ask to be a living and loving testimony,
of what occurs when we accept Thee.
