I'm leaning on Jesus so I can see this through,
there is so much to think about and so much to do.

I am not strong enough to this on my own,
but Jesus promises to be my strength or so I've been shown.

There is nothing I must face that will prove too much for me,
for Jesus is the one who would bears it all you see.

There's no pain to feel He hasn't known,
nor any tears to shed any different than His own.

There is no temptation to great for me to resist,
there is no evil won't be bound if by His name I insist.

There is no sorrow that can come between me and Him,
and there is no situation that is too difficult or grim.

I needn't worry over my children or what we have to face,
because long ago each of them in His hands I did place.

I have the peace that passeth understanding that will see me through,
and trusting in Jesus is all I have to do.

Yes I am leaning on Jesus day by day,
and I'm assured He'll stay beside me all the way.
