Just a little more than others think you need,
would help the world in happiness to proceed.

A little more patience so as not to irritate another,
a little more time spent on a sister or brother.

A little more generosity to one in need,
a little more giving and a lot less greed.

A little more caring how we affect our mate,
may mean a lower number in the divorce rate.

A little more tenderness when correcting a child,
may prevent them from straying and turning out wild.

A little more attention paid to our youth's education,
may lead to less crime or it's eradication.

A little more hand shaking and hugging,
may lead to less crimes such as beating and mugging.

A little more Bible study and walking in Jesus' steps,
would lead to lots more loving and a lot less regrets.

Just a little more effort on each one's part,
would make each of us have just a little more heart.
