It is an honor to be able to pray for another,
to offer a petition for a sister or brother.

Jesus promises in Matthew 18:19 that our every prayer is heard.
You can affirm this in God's Holy Word.

He goes on to tell us where two of us agree,
this is where we can count on an answer you see.

An answer provided by His Father above,
so great is the depth of God's precious love.

Believe and receive is what we must do,
and the ability to believe is supplied by God too.

There is no way to fall short of our expectations.
Just look in Matthew if you need explanations.

God's love is more than our minds can possibly understand.
He is offering us it all in His outstretched hand.

Ask God for wisdom, do not be meek.
God says all will find who take time to seek.

Wisdom, discernment, conviction, all there for you,
and asking to receive is all you need to do.

It is an honor of which you can partake.
