Our God is loving, never ever mean.
Read about it in Isaiah 66:13.

A mother will do anything for her child in comforts name,
and in Isaiah we learn our God is the very same.

"As a mother comforts her child so I will comfort you."
This is what our heavenly Father promises to do.

Trust in our Father, take Him everything.
Peace that passeth understanding is what He will bring.

Not every problem disappears or goes away,
but that is not what this verse has to say.

"I will comfort you", is the promise made.
Comfort is what God gives, it's never delayed.

The situation may remain the same,
but comfort is delivered if sought in Jesus' name.

Our God is loving and wants to comfort us all,
whether man, woman, large or small.

So when in trial or feeling doubt,
remember Isaiah and give our Father a shout.

Comfort is yours, just claim the same,
remembering to do so in Jesus' name.
