"I give up." Are these words you've ever wanted to say?
If so I suggest you fall on your knees and pray.

Ask God to forgive your insensitivity,
that's what was needed when the same error was made by me.

It is a mistake you know for us to give up on life,
even though it may be filled with troubles and strife.

God's grace is sufficient you see.
This is what the Holy Word has to say to you and me.

Are we so mighty we can call God a liar,
just because we don't set other's hearts afire?

Just because what has become our cross to bear,
isn't something the whole world desires to share.

If you'd been given money in place of strife,
would the "friends" around you be there for life?

At least in your situation what's there is true,
your friends are really people who care about you.

So stop the crying, wipe your eyes so you may see,
there's good in every life, even in one such as me.

If you will surrender and give God your all,
He can use you to reach others large and small.

Just let Him have complete control,
He will use you to reach many a lost soul.

Others who are thinking of giving up too,
others who may not be reached by anyone but you.
