| I Am A Sinner by Barbara Philbrook I am a sinner a
fact I dare not deny, There is a
constant battle raging within me, When I awake and
start to face each new day, As long as I'm
in this body I'll have a battle to fight, Someone will say
or do something and without forethought or plan, Instantly I
recognize what I said was wrong, Feeling contrite
and so very full of shame, It's what
happens when I haven't given Jesus control, I hope you
understand I hope you can see, It's occurs when
I try to succeed on my strength alone, I must die daily
seeking the Comforter's control, God knew we'd
face this battle one day, The way to be
saved and live as we should, I am a sinner
who is living by grace, |
