Heaven's Gate is a place I haven't been to yet,
but the fact that I've only read about it never causes me to fret.

It's a place I'll see in the future, I'm assured of this,
and my Bible tells me I've never imagined such perfect bliss.

I am assured that those gates I will one day enter in,
because I accepted Jesus' payment for my sin.

Jesus left His home there on high,
and came in the form of man whom sinners would crucify.

Loving us with a depth we could never comprehend,
then going back to the Father our names to defend.

Yes the gates are opened and inviting us in,
all because Jesus died to pay for our sin.

The gates are not locked, they beckon us to walk through,
admission has already been paid for me and you.

If you are not sure of the facts which I speak,
look in your Bible, God shows truth to all who diligently seek.

Seek diligently and you too will be sure to find,
assurance that permission to enter has been granted as thine.

Heaven's Gate is there waiting for each of us to pass on through,
and acceptance of God's Son is all that's expected of you.
