I had heard of The Salvation Plan,
and God's love so great that Jesus died to save man.

I went to the Father desiring to see,
"how can You want to save a despicable sinner such as me?"

"How in the world can You love one such as I,
a love so great You'd allow Your own Son to die?"

"I want to know what there is about me,
that you could possibly desire to set me free".

I fell to my knees begging to understand,
a love so great He designed The Salvation Plan.

I waited in tears for the answer to come,
How could I ever be worth the love of the Son.

No words were spoken but I felt an embrace,
as the tears I cried were wiped from my face.

I have an assurance an awareness deep in my heart,
that God truly loved me right from the start.

This same assurance is available to you,
and calling out to Jesus is all that you need do.
