I need Your guidance Lord, there are decisions to make,
I'm not sure which steps I should take.

I pray that I am in Your will.
That You are directing all that I do still.

I pray that I am alert and discerning.
I pray and that You will still the turbulence in my head that's churning.

I ask You to open some doors while closing others.
Confirm Your directions by Christian brothers.

Prepare my heart and send me where You will.
Father, I yearn to fit the bill.

You tell us seek and we will find.
Show me the way and open my mind.

Proverbs 16:9 says "In his heart a man plans his course but the Lord determines his step".
On this promise I am waiting yet.

Psalms 32:8 says "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go".
Lord I ask for Your guidance so I too will know!

Your guidance is that for which I seek,
for Father without You I am so very weak.
