An attitude of gratitude that's what I desire,
it is for what I shall daily aspire.
A desire to display my heartfelt thanks,
for being rescued from sins lowly ranks.

An inner aching to do God's bidding,
without ever responding "Are You Kidding".
Seeking to reach out to those hurting and alone,
just as Jesus' example has shown.

Willing to perform every single task,
no matter what it is that my Lord shall ask.
An attitude of gratitude and honor and praise,
for my Lord for the rest of my days.
