Godly love is a love that comes from our Father.
It is a love that makes you try harder.

Makes you try to share what you have now found,
to make sure the truth is spread around.

To make everyone you meet aware,
that God has a home and wants them to live there.

To share that sin has a price of death in the end,
and that the price is paid, on this they can depend.

The paid receipt is being offered to each.
This is the truth which we can strive to teach.

Everyone's sins were paid for on the cross,
because God desires that not one of us be a loss.

Each of us must accept the offer on our own.
This is what we must be sure they are all shown.

Help them to see the truth and to seek salvation.
We must be sure everyone hears of the invitation.

Teach the words that they can humbly say,
as they bow their heads and quietly pray.

Godly love now being in them too,
so going out and sharing the news is what they'll desire to do.

Godly love now abiding within our heart,
is the catalyst that makes us each want to do our part.
