Fulfilling a need is my greatest desire.
I wish to help others out of life's muck and mire.

To reach those suffering pain and strife,
to help them to see there is more to life.

Father place me where there is the most need,
and with your work I will diligently proceed.

I'll find those needing an encouraging word,
and tell them the most beautiful story ever heard.

I'll uplift those whose hearts are sunk in despair,
by assuring them of how very much You care.

I'll share the joy of knowing about eternity,
and that there's a place there for them and me.

I'll explain there's a choice that must be made,
after explaining the price of our sins was paid.

I'll search everywhere high and low,
to find as many as I can who need to know.

Fulfilling a need that's my destiny,
and I'm so thrilled to be allowed to be of service to Thee.
