I said a prayer to God today I said it just for you,
I asked that he guide your steps so you'd go the way he wants you to.

I asked that the words that you would say this day,
be words that show others that God brought love and caring your way.

I asked that each flower that comes into your view,
be a constant reminder that as God  lovingly cares for them he also cares for you.

I  asked that as the birds sing with voices filled with glory,
that you will be reminded of the salvation story.

I asked that as through each of life's trials and pains you must go,
that  you remember that this is how our character is allowed to grow.

I asked that the faith that God has given to you,
will be more than sufficient to see you through.

But what I was most anxious to ask as I knelt to pray, was that we'll
all be together when we go home to stay.
