| Far From
Home by Barbara Philbrook Our
enlisted young men and women are far from home, If it is
God's protection they beseech, They will
not so much as dash a foot we are told, Our
Heavenly Father promises to protect us from all harm, But better
than the protection offered to each, There is a
choice which must be made by all, We must
choose to receive salvation for our sins, There was
a price put on sin way back when the world began, That price
is death, that was to be the cost, It is not
forced on you, no not in any way, No one can
do this for you no matter the depth of love, None of us
know when our time on earth will end, Once you
believe and invite Jesus inside, The Holy
Spirit starts the changes that must be made in you, Then you
trust and let the changes occur, Far from
home but never far from our loving Father, |
