Education is a very important endeavor,
and educators are praised almost never.

They give of themselves unselfishly,
contributing so much to humanity.

Often they sacrifice much without honor or glory,
there are many who've never told their story.

They spend day after day building children's minds,
and many spend their last years in loneliness we find.

The dedication that they poured out so diligently,
completely forgotten by others you see.

But that time and effort were very well spent,
the growth of our world is very evident.

There will be a reward in Heaven I'm sure,
because such faithfulness God would never ignore.

Let's determine not to forget what's been done by this man,
let's thank him profusely by giving him a big Hand.

Let us remember that the effect of His work we shall continue to see,
as it ripples on down throughout history.

The lives of the children who have been in His care,
will reap benefits for years in which we all will share.

Never forget nor take for granted the work done by this man,
because He has contributed to God's Great Master Plan.

He's guided the children helping each of them grow,
teaching them all the things they needed to know.

As He steps down and another takes his place,
let us each seek for Him God's Blessings and Grace.
