Did God say no to a request you made,
one you offered as you knelt and prayed?

Did you feel disappointed or sad,
did you loose your temper and get really mad?

Did you accept what He had to say,
and try to think of an alternative way?

Did you cry out to anyone who was near,
or did you give into stress or fear?

Have you even come to terms with how you felt,
have you discussed it with Him as in prayer you knelt.

Have you thanked Him for hearing you at all,
even if He chose not to answer your call?

Did you tell Him you know He knows best,
and to ask Him to help you pass any test?

Is your heart filled with love and bliss,
have you thanked Him for today's happiness?

Did You accept whatever God gave to you,
and tell Him you'll do whatever He wants you to?

Did you surrender to God today,
then you responded in just the right way!
