I know there is a course Lord over which You intend my life to flow,
I pray you will alert me if I veer from it even slightly so.

I know that You will not force me Lord it must be my choice,
but Heavenly Father this is what I'm here to voice.

I choose to surrender that my life be guided by You,
I want to be submitted Lord in all I say and do.

Although I've accepted and am indwelt by Your Holy Spirit,
sometimes Your voice is so soft that I can hardly hear it.

There is so very much distraction going on for me,
I pray that extra sensitive my hearing can be.

May the words You speak come in so loud and clear,
and when I feel the furthest please whisper "I am here".

May my heart be receptive to the Love you are pouring through,
so that when others look my way they see instead You.

May the eyes that I use to see the world around me,
reflect to others Your Hope, Love and Serenity.

May my hands be held out to those in need,
as sure as Jesus' hands were pierced that we could be freed.

May my every reaction to life bring You Honor and Glory,
may everyone I meet hear your Salvation Story.

Yes the course of my life is set and I know not how well it will be run,
may my life please you Lord when all is said and done.
