You can stop it, that pain in your heart,
the one that is ripping you apart.

The hurting taking place within,
the one's who's beginning you can't remember how or when.

The tearing sensation that is hurting you,
the one it feels like is splitting you in two.

The pain you fear will bring an end to your life,
the one caused by troubles and strife.

The pain you know no one else has ever felt.
I've news for you there's One who in Gethsemane knelt.

He bore every pain you or I could ever feel,
and the love He has for us is so very real.

You can wipe out that pain in your heart,
just call on Jesus and tell Him you'll take part.

Tell Him you  heard and that you believe,
and now you wish His salvation to receive.

Call out that most miraculous name,
you'll never suffer like this again.

Oh the situation may not change at all,
but you'll have peace once you've made the call.

No one is denied who calls out to Him,
won't you do it now and let your inner peace begin.

You can stop it you are the only one,
and you accomplish that by calling on God's precious Son.
