| Fires Are
Burning by Barbara Philbrook Fires are
burning the fireman are doing all that they can, Thousands
of acres have been destroyed and the damage has been
taking it's toll, There is
danger brewing for the aged and those with lung disease, People
with hoses on roof tops trying to wet their house, There is
danger on the highways due to the real thick swirling
smoke, People's
pets are scampering from here and there, The fires
Lord have gotten out of control we'd like it if you would
intervene, The
hospitals have had people coming in because their lungs
are under duress, Please
Lord can you open the skies and allow the rain to pour, I know we
don't deserve even the slightest consideration from you, You tell
us we will not be tested beyond what we can bear, Thank you
for your promises and for the faith you give so that we
can believe in you, Thank you
for the relief that I believe that you are about to send
our way, Thank You
for the faith that allows me to have perfect trust in
you, |
