Father I am blessed and I wanted to take the time just now to say,
how grateful I am that you love me and are willing to hear me as I pray.

I want to thank you that we are blessed to have the freedom to come openly to you in prayer,
and for the promise that where two or more are gathered in your name you too are there.

I want to thank you for the assurance that if  when in prayer we believe,
then what we ask  is what we will receive.

I am blessed by having The Bible which you inspired the authors to write,
and for Your Holy Spirit who interprets it for me so I will understand it alright.

I am blessed to have had four beautiful children that you allowed me to raise,
I pray  that they will soon all be singing your praise.

I am grateful for the marriage that has lasted thirty four years,
You helped me survive all the trials and strengthened me as I shed a few tears.

I am blessed that when I accepted you into my heart,
immediately a new work in me you did start.

I'm glad that the changes that have to be made aren't left up to me,
and  will be eternally grateful to be in eternity with thee.

I am blessed to have had trials and tribulations that have helped my character to grow,
I have been blessed to have a mind that can learn and absorb the new things I now know.

I am blessed to have a growing church to attend,
and blessed to have a problem in my heart which you chose to mend.

Father I am blessed to have been allowed to take part in this life at all,
and I wish to say  thank you for answering me when ever on your name knelt to call.

Yes Father my blessings are so great and have meant so much to me,
I pray that my life will bring Honor and Glory to Thee.
