Method to Acquire: Once he appears on Chapter 4, have Clarine talk to him.
Damage: It's pretty good, especially for a Myrmidon. With the Hard Mode boost, it's through the roof.
Critical: Swordmasters get a 30% critical boost in Fire Emblem 6! Add the Wo Dao to that and any support conversation and you should be to 65% critical rate without adding in supports OR Skill!
Speed: All myrmidons are fast, and Rutger is no exception. If he doesn't max speed you have VERY bad luck.
Dodge: He's got high speed but his luck stat leaves much to be desired. Even still, he has 72 dodge as a level 20 Swordmaster.

Rating: 8.75/10 - He's a very good Swordmaster but Fir is better, Karel is very good(even though he appears late in the game), and I just don't use him that often. He IS a very good character and you should use him in Hard Mode.
