Nino
Nino becomes the best Sage in Rekka no Ken.  However, she starts as a level five Mage.  If you want to use her at all, you MUST give her the Afa's Drops.  You also have to give her a lot of weakened opponents in the beginning.  In Hard Mode, you pretty much have to give her every single enemy from the level where you get her until Final Chapter: Light to max her out.  She also should get your Tactician's Bonus on Normal because Fire gives off the biggest gains and quite a few good characters have it.  In my opinion, she is the best candidate for Afa's drops because she is the character with the fewest levels who joins after you recieve them.

Damage - Nino has the highest magic out of any Anima Mage user.  She usually maxes out. 
Critical - She usually maxes out skill or comes close.  She averages 13, which can be bumped up to 43 with an A support and a B support as well as a Thunder spellbook.  However, Jaffar, Canas, and Legault supports yield half as much critical increase as her other 4 supports.
Speed - Even without Afa's Drops, she maxes out her speed.
Dodge - She has a very high dodge, averaging 77 at level 20.

Rating:  8.2/10.  While she does turn out to be the best Anima Magic user, she still comes late in the game and is completely worthless in Hard Mode unless you are willing to make all your other characters recieve no experience and she still takes a lot of training on Normal.
