Marcus
Pent and Athos are proof that with age comes wisdom.  However, age also makes the sword arm weaker.  Marcus is sadly the cruel joke of that.  He's good for about 7 missions.  Personally, I think Zealot is better then Marcus, because you can arena abuse him to level 20 to make Zealot useful for about 10 missions.

Method to Acquire:  You start with Marcus on Chapter 1.  You certainly wish you didn't though.

Damage:  It starts off only slightly better then the rest of your starting characters but it doesn't stay that way for very long.

Critical:  It's horrible.  Even though Marcus has maxed out skill in FE7, trust me, he won't max out on FE6.

Speed:  He'll hit twice to start, but he won't for much longer than that.  His speed gain is weak.

Dodge:  He averages 46 as a level 20 Paladin, and that can be bumped up to 61 with the Weapon Advantage.  Still, it's not all that great.

Rating:  4/10.  You know what's sad?  That he's actually better in Fire Emblem 6 then he is in Fire Emblem 7.  Not statistically, but in terms of usefullness.  It is very difficult to get through some of the earlier chapters without using Marcus in Hard Mode.    ?
