Ellen
Ellen is the first healer you get.  She turns out exactly like Saul does, comes four levels lower and 5 Chapters earlier.  For those chapters, she is the best healer you get.  However, you also get Clarine 2-3 Chapters later.  Really, Ellen isn't all that good EXCEPT for those few Chapters since she turns out the same as Saul. 

Acquire:  She runs up to you at the start of Chapter 2 and she's automatically yours. 

Damage:  Her magic gain is equivalent to Serra's.  However, she starts with a pitiful ONE magic as a level 2 Cleric.

Critical:  Unfortunately, her Critical isn't all that great.  Fire Emblem 6 Light magic spellbooks don't increase your Critical rate.

Speed:  Her speed turns out pretty decent, nothing special though.

Dodge:  She averages a dodge of 64, which isn't all that impressive.

Rating:  8.5/10.  She's equivalent in power and function as Saul, and she comes four levels lower, making her difficult to raise.
