This is my brother...and this is his car...and this is what you get when you add those two things together!
Darlington Speed Way

My brother, Scott, is currently an Automotive Technician attending the Nascar Technical Institute in Race City, USA (Mooresville, NC), and is working at an Advanced Auto Parts store. Racing fuel has been running through his veins since Mom let him hold the steering wheel when he was little. Unfortunately for our grandmother, he thought it was fun playing with the steering wheel, and one day while our grandma was getting the paper, he hit the shifter into neutral and rolled down the road into a ditch. He got his first "car" (power wheels) when he was 3 (he was always checking under the hood for how much battery he had left) and he changed his first tire when he was 5 or 6 years old in the K-Mart parking lot.

He recently bought an old S-10 that needed a new engine, and after a few classes in high school and 6 months at NTI he already has his new engine in his truck and running (not quite driveable yet, but almost...). Scott's knowledge of vehicles of any type amazes me and he gets smarter with every class he takes. I already find it hard to believe there is stuff he doesn't know and I am sure he will find himself in a well-paid, satisfying job way before I do! I wouldn't be surprised if I saw him on a pit crew, changing tires for a Nascar team one day.

Scott has his s10 running and driving it now and saving miles on his Trans Am, unless you count those few 1/8's of mile on the drag strip!

He is now working on a 79 Camaro that needs desperate attention in every aspect that you can think of, it may take a while, but with our imaginations we can see Scott's future drag car!
