AUGUST 1999
The first cardcaptor Sakura movie appears in Japan and is a huge hit.
JANUARY 2000
The first Cardcaptor Sakura comic is released in the U.S. by TOKYOPOP
MAY 2000
TOKYOPOP publishes the first Cardcaptor sakura graphic novel in a new "pocket" format.
JULY 2000
The second Cradcaptor Sakura movie premiers in Japan, showing that the series is running strong after 4 years.
AUGUST 2000
Cardcaptors appears on TV's Kids WB. The show is an instant hit.
NOVEMBER 2000
Subtitled and dubbed versions of Cardcaptor Sakura come out in the U.S. on VHS and DVD.
DECEMBER 2000
TOKYOPOP publishes the second Cardcaptor Sakura graphic novel in its "pocket" format.
MARCH 2001
TOKYOPOP begins a fan letters and fan art section in its Cardcaptor sakura comic.
