I was born in Johannesburg in
1975. I studied at the University of the Witwatersrand, obtaining my

In 2000 I was one of two South African artists to win a Royal Overseas Scholarship. Artists from Australia, Bangladesh, South Africa and the UK were invited to submit slides of recent work to ROSL Arts from which five artists were chosen. |
I have participated in numerous exhibitions both locally and abroad. In 1999 I held my first solo exhibition, "Pandora's Box" at the Johannesburg Civic Gallery. My second solo exhibition, "Fragments", will be held at The Space, Standard Bank Gallery, Johannesburg, 30 April - 25 May 2002. | This enabled me to spend a one-month residency at Hospitalfield House in Arbroath, Scotland as well as undertake one week of travel in Edinburgh. In addition I exhibited my work in London and Edinburgh together with the other winners. |
