
Heat oven to 350�
1 8-ounce package macaroni cooked as directed
2 tablespoons butter, cut in pieces
3 cups shredded sharp cheese (loosely packed)
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs beaten
3 cups milk
sprinkle of paprika
Combine the cooked macaroni, butter, most of the cheese (reserve a bit to make a cheese crust on top), and salt. Turn this into a greased 1 1/2-quart (large)baking dish. Blend together 2 beaten eggs and 3 cups milk. Pour milk and egg mixture over macaroni. Sprinkle the remaining cheese and paprika on top. Bake 40 to 50 minutes. This makes 6 servings.
NOTE: I use half canned evaporated milk and half regular milk to make the sauce. The more canned milk you use, the richer the sauce.
