
1 tablespoon olive oil or veg. oil
1 small onion chopped
1 lb. ground beef
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup flour
2 cups water or milk
mashed potatoes
Saute the onion in the oil until lightly brown. Add the ground beef and salt. When the beef is broken up and browned, pour off excess fat. Stir in flour and then water. Heat until gravy bubbles. Serve over mashed potatoes. This will provide about 4 servings.
