Flashback 2001-2002

Frequently Asked Questions

Why buy in the fall? Each year, the Flashback staff offers three main yearbook sales - Open house, Back to School night and during the month of October. Money is accepted for books through Christmas. Based on the number of pre-sales, we must estimate the number of books to buy. Last year, only 620 students pre-ordered yearbooks. Based on this number, we ordered 850 books. North Stafford graduated a class of 500. We had to turn away many students in the spring because we just didn't have books.

Another reason to buy in the fall is the price and the packages. Fall prices are always the lowest. In addition, special options are only available in the fall. These include autograph supplements, name stamping and the special senior name stamp. (see first page for package information).

How much is this going to cost? That will depend on the package you wish to purchase. The lowest price is $40.00. Books sell for $60.00 in the spring.

Aren't I guaranteed a book in the spring? No. We order a limited supply of books. Those who pre-order the books in the fall receive their books first. We only sell left over books once all pre-orders are received. The sale is on a first come, first serve basis.

When is the absolute last date I can purchase packages? Our current flyers are marked Oct. 15, but we will be selling books in school during the month of October. We are still accepting orders through the mail or individually

What is name stamping? Name stamping personalizes the book by having your son/daughter's name on the front. Seniors have the option of adding "Class of 2001"

Why should I purchase an autograph supplement? Our yearbook is 248 pages. Every page is used to provide space for pictures, important memories and ads. Generally, only the end sheets are available for signing. Autograph supplements are inserts that allow more signing room.

What is a plastic cover for? Plastic covers help protect the outside of the book - much like book covers at the library.
