I can’t wait to enter heaven’s gate

You know I won’t be arriving late

To get to you I would run for miles

To see your family with nothing but smiles

Please give me a hug and hold me awhile

As I take joy because of your great big smile

In a heavenly place you have brought us together

To live with you forever and ever

Brothers and sisters united in one place

People of every known color and race

The day you come back to take us away

Is what I long for so please don’t delay

I will be on Earth waiting as you guide my way

Leading me to that one fateful day

When you judge my life and reveal the truth

That what I believed in life needed no proof

Just that I had faith in you as you reigned above

Relying on your grace, your mercy and your love

Father in you I put all of my faith and trust
