“Have You Seen My Home?”
Home is where your heart can rest, a place where you feel comfort
It is the place you go to get away from the pains of this world
So we must ask ourselves, where do we feel comfort?
Can we find an escape from this world while we are still in it?
The ultimate home must be where our lives were created
Heaven is where the almighty reigns in his comfy home
He calls on us to serve him and to join Him in his home
He has prepared a place for us if we are willing to accept it
It is the most comfy place anyone could ever be
With no pain or sorrow, only happiness and love
I want more than anything to get to this place and be at home
But the road of life stands before me, staring me in the eye
The road of righteousness appears to be the one less traveled
And I wonder if Frost knew which way we should go
It has been brought to my attention that if we choose more than
One road at a time, we increase the odds of splitting our pants
I guess we have to decide where we want to end up
Before we decide which way we should go to get there
It seems to me that to get home I should follow the path
Laid out by my Father in heaven, so I guess I will
Follow Jesus and let the Spirit guide my ways
I’m off on a mission to heaven,
Who’s comin’ with me?
