I can’t seem to fight this lonely feeling I have inside

The feeling that there is a void waiting to be filled

I feel so empty even though I know you are there

Father, give me the patience to wait for you to send me

Someone to help me along in my walk of faith with you

Please send me a companion to be by my side and to

Share with me the wonderful things you are doing in her life

Send me a girl who loves you just as much as I do

Send me a girl who will do whatever it takes to live for you

I need someone close to me who will fight as hard as I do

To better myself and humble myself before you, Loving Lord

I am weary from making this journey alone.

I am tired of searching for you by myself.

I am stuck in this place that I have worked so hard to get to

I need some help to get to the next level of living for you

Don’t get me wrong Lord; it’s not that you are not enough

I just long for something more with hope that it will draw me closer to you.
