“Change”

 

People want to know what has caused me to change everything about me

They wonder why I am so different from every other college kid

I made a complete one eighty and changed everything that I used to be

People still dwell on how I was before and the things that I did

 

As for me I am moving on to so much more than I could ever dream

With Jesus as my guide my life finally gained a feeling of hope

I am not leaving any of my friends from the past although it may seem

They are in my prayers and I will be dropping them a lifesaving rope

 

Anyone who wants to can grab hold and join me on my journey

As I try and survive this world full of evil that tries to bring me down

I keep the faith knowing that I will live with the Lord for all eternity

I give Him my life and I humble myself before the crown

 

Let me tell you the things God has to offer
