Naval Police Companies and Platoons 1941 - 1943

In the summer 1941 Finnish Coast Guard [Rannikkovartiosto], the naval part of Frontier Guard [Rajavartiosto], formed Naval Police Companies (Meripoliisikomppania, MPK) and Naval Police Platoons (Meripoliisijoukkue, MPJ). Naval Police Company / Lake Onega Coastal Brigade (MPK/Ään.RPr.) was formed in turn 5./6.1942.

So far I have not managed to found any more information on these units. They all belonged to coastal brigades and their tasks were the same as those of Coast Guard's during the peace-time in addition to certain duties of the Military Police.
