Lentolaivue 36 (LLv.36) (Flying Squadron 36) Kallvik (Vuosaari, Helsinki), 12.12.39- Malmi (Helsinki) two-plane RI patrol operated occasionally from Ruissalo (Turku), Pori and Mariehamn and Fjärrsund (Åland Islands) Maritime reconnaissance squadron. Between 1.12. - 4.12.1939 squadron was called as Detachment Helenius (Osasto Helenius) and was located temporarily to Åland Islands. 1. Lentue (1st Flight) (12.12.39- RI, 18.2.40- KO, 3.40- VP) Acted temporarily with the planes of 2nd and 3rd Flight between 1.12. - 4.12.1939. Formed officially from other flights on 12.12.1939. Re-equipped since mid-February 1940 and its old RIs which had already been in Åland Islands were handed over to 1./T-LLv.39. 2. Lentue (2nd Flight) (-12.12.39 RI) Suspended on 12.12.1939. Personnel and planes were given to a new 1st Flight . 3. Lentue (3rd Flight) (-12.12.39 RI) Suspended on 12.12.1939. Personnel and planes were given to a new 1st Flight. 1. Lentue / Täydennyslentolaivue 39* (LK-2, -3, Waco, 20.1.40- RI) (1./T-LLv.39) (1st Flight / Supplement Flying Squadron 39) Fjärrsund (Åland Islands), operated occasionally also from Ruissalo (Turku) Maritime reconnaissance flight formed from the planes and personnel of Coast Guard. Subordinated to LLv.36. Between 1.12. - 4.12.1939 acted as 2nd Flight / Detachment Helenius. At the end of January 1940 floats were replaced with skiis.
