This Catholic church on the island of Mayreau is one of the most beautiful churches that we've ever stepped foot in. This tiny chapel seats about 50 people max.  Of course, with an island population of 200, that's 1/4 of the island.  There is a big, breezy patio directly behind this church.  The patio sits at the brink of a cliff and the view is of the Taboago Cays and miles and miles of Carribean sea.  We sat on the patio for a good long time - Matt looking out to sea and me petting a wonderfully docile and peaceful old dog.

Behind the Mayreau elementary school  - a great view of the island of Carriacou.
Posing on Sandy Island.  We spent the afternoon snorkeling and swimming. on this teeny island  While we were snorkeling we saw a foot long sea snake swim up from the sand.  It was only about five feet off of the shore and in very shallow water!  YIKES!
Sandy Island, just off the coast and part of the "bigger" island of Carriacou (the mountainous island in the background).  The crew told us that Sandy Island used to be two times bigger and had several palm trees.  Hurrican Ivan washed pretty much everything away and all that's left is a spit of sand and rock about 200 yards long and 30 yards wide.
