Our son, Quinn Matthew, arrived on 31 January at 0642!!!!

He weighed in at a shocking 9 lbs and 4 oz and was 21.5 inches long.
We're home and adjusting to life with three children.  As we've been told - Matt and I are finished playing man-to-man and are playing zone from here on out.  Funny, I always liked the teamwork of the zone better.
Welcome to the family Quinn!

Today (7 Feb) is also Faith's 3rd Birthday.  It's so hard to believe that we brought her home around the same time three years ago.  And that we thought caring for her was so challenging!  Oh, how we grow...

Happy 3rd Birthday to our beautiful little girl!!!

January - 2009

So it's January and it's been a year since I've been here and posting.  Life's crazy that way.
Even crazier to report that we're expecting Baby #3 in a few days!

All is well with all of us.
Matt is still enjoying his job at a small software company about 1/2 hour away.  He loves the people he works with and what he does, and we count that as a major blessing in our lives.
Faith will turn three in a little over a week.  She's a very busy little spit-fire.  Makes us laugh every day through things she says and does.  For example, this past Sunday during mass, Faith was watching a woman behind us who had her eyes closed and was probably praying.  All of sudden Faith yelled, "WAKE UP!".  I'm not sure how the woman reacted - I was too embarassed to look back as I clamped my hand over Faith's mouth.    Henry is also a busy little guy.  Typical of a one year old, he's curious about everything and nothing escapes his notice.  He's a lot like a whirling dervish...he's here...he's there...and there is always a wake of destruction left behind him.  He's talking up a storm that only he can decipher, but it's cute to listen to most of the time.
Delaney and Kiowa are well.  We know that it they could roll their eyes, they would when we bring #3 home.  They don't get as much lovin from Matt and I as they were used to, but I think that's slowly changing as Faith hugs and snuggles with them frequently now.
As for myself, I'm hanging in there.  I'm tired and heavy with this baby, but enjoying the anticipation and the relative calm-before-the-storm.  I've been working 10 hours a week in the office for the past year while Dad watches Faith and Henry.  Both the work and Dad's care for the children have also been huge blessings in our lives.

I'll try to post some photos to this site in the
"family" and "vacations" links.  This text update will probably be up here for awhile though.  It took me almost a year to update with two kids - who knows how long it'll take with three.  Maybe I'll look into a blog site or something different once things with #3 settle down.  If so, I'll post the link here.
We hope that each of you reading this is doing well.  Drop us a line when you get a chance!

Blessings,
Matt, Cathy, Faith, Henry, Baby #3, Delaney and Kiowa
