We have several maps ready and will definately be creating more as the story progresses. But, first, some basic information. The stort takes place in the land of Keerlia. No character may, in his/her story, leave Keerlia by any means. No character may cause technology to advance beyond Middle Midieval Technology. This means there will be no lasers or weapons with gunpowder of ny sort, but you may think up interesting weapons of your own.
Here is the map of Keerlia as a whole:
In case you didn't figure out on your own, the upside down v's are mountains, blue is water, and green is dense forest.
You most likely noticed the zoom in box. Hopefully in the future we will have more zoom in locations, but that one is the most important area in the story. It is the main area, and the only area, as of yet, with cities. Players may "find" other cities and "find" new lands, etc. But this area has one unique feature. Clans. It is THE ONLY area that will ever have clans. Below is a map of it:
Symbols are the same in that map as well. Red dots signify cities.
Now you will learn about several important locations.
1. Ivelos- Ivelos is the Capital City of the strongest of the Elven Clans. In fact it is the only city in its clan. But it is an immensly important city. It is larg, controls a strong army, is at an important river and trade junction, and is gateway to trade routes all across those lands. Several points of interest in it are the Cornerstone Inn, the Old Palace, the New PAlace, the Docks, and Fort Selendia. Supposedly there is a labarynth of tunnels and catacombs under the city as well.
2. Milsteng- Milsteng is the Capital City of the most affluent of the human clans. It presides over all of the cities and towns, including Fort Swiftrun, within Whiplash Bend. It is the third greatest city on the Thrinish River. Several points of interest there are the Unicorn Rider Barracks, Milsteng Falls, and the Diamond GAte.
3. Narisdonosck- Narisdonosck is the only known Dwarven City. It also houses the largest forges in Keerlia. Most of the city is under a vast mountain, but there is an aboveground trade town for non-dwarves who wish to buy dwarven goods. Non-Dwarves (especially Elves) are not permitted in Dwarven Cities. Several points of interest are the Bright HAlls, Cave of 100,000 Pillars, King's Hall, Sky Tower, and the Dwarven MArket. There is also, supposedly, a thriving Black MArket in the trade town.
4. Parelis- Parelis is a notorious Pirate town, in the south half of the city. The north half is a perfectly respectable, and highly prosperous, trade town. It trades with Southport and other river towns. Parelis is situated in a conveniantly placed natural harbor right at the mouth of the river that flows through the rest of the explored lands. In the south side of the city are many pirates, criminals, prisoners, and vagabonds of all shapes and sizes and races. The government of PArelis once tried to expell them, and failed miserably. Several points of interest are the Sunlit SHores, River Delta, Thieves Inn, and Starlight Tower.
5. Najath- Najath is the only known city of Giants. It is also the capital of the only Clan of Giants. It has very little trade with the outside world, and is itself almost impossible to find, and has little to trade, but is a very, very, very large city. Several points of interest are the GAteway MAze, Giants Corridor, and the Giant's Palace.
More locations will be added when needed.
