Really at first glance to a great lot of people this proposition would seem ludicrous. The truth of the matter regarding the meaning behind these verses seems to be that any attempt to reproduce a chapter of the quran would turn out to be the same truth; so it will be nothing different, but rather rhetoric of the truth. If one brings an antithesis to the quran they are wrong, i.e. anything that is different and claims to be the truth will in effect be wrong. Thus if you are truthful you cannot bring an antithesis to the quran.
