| Peace everyone. My name is Joseph. I was introduced to the Scripture in the middle of 2001, at the end of the summer. I've been a Muslim to God all of my life and this I am certain of since I've always been a good person and believed in the God of the Scripture. Before the summer of 2001 I was a 'Sunni Muslim' in that I believed in and followed the beliefs of the Sunni doctrine which included Sahih Ahadith and Sunnah of Muhammad outside the Quran. When I followed such things, the only question I really asked myself was why should I follow them and the answer that seemed to hold other questions at bay was that 'God said we must do these things in this manner'. Then after browsing through web sites such as Submission.org and talking to people who followed the Quran as the only source of law for God's system I began to open my eyes to the Quran. I realized that we should even question things that God said we should follow so that understanding of these things can make us better and more knowledgeable people. At first, I was such a Gentile to God's Scripture because I only knew of it based on other peoples opinions and sayings. Now after two years I am much more understanding of the Book and grateful to God for that and to those of God's servants who pointed me to this way. The people of Free-Minds.org were especially helpful and these guys seem to be the most flexible of all other groups out there in taking advice and following the best word (39:18). Now I am setting up this site to show you, the people, my perspective on the Quranic teachings. I hope you guys enjoy this site. - - Joe |
