This is another rare company from back in the Empire days. I got this deck in a trade with Mr. Feakes. Can't turn down a rare deck.
First impression(s): Shape is nice. This is a 9 ply deck if my sources are correct. Also has truck insets which is also rare to see on fingerboards. So I found that interesting.
Final impressions: The shape reminds me of a early generation Tech Deck with slightly higher tails. Down side is uneven plies but no lack in performance. The tails are also shorter compared to most decks. I usually don't like that but I was diggin' the board control. For a mellower deck I was able to ollie higher and still have as much flip control I could ask for. Due to Parrot's being so rare I doubt you will be able to find one nowadays. But it would be a very good find if you had. |
