These decks are very hard to get ahold of considering the rarity of them, being an old closed company and all. I managed to win this in an auction from D-Rod.
First impression(s): I'm not one to be into a mellower shape but I just had to try it given they're rare and had rave reviews before their closing. Shape looked okay for a mellow deck so I was willing to give them a chance.
Final impressions: I was amazed at how much control I had. Plenty of pop which isn't usually seen in a mellow deck. Next to no concave but had plenty of flip control. Sanding is nice and it come with a nice yellow stained bottom. The holes were drilled nice so the trucks were very easy to put in. This deck is definetly an original and I am happy to have one. If you have a chance to get one, jump on it! |
