Weekly Status Report for 20th July 2001

To: The Bilderberg Group and the Trilateral Commission

Our local observers have informed us that there are some issues in the United Kingdom at the moment that we need to deal with. If you care to remember, a number of years ago, we introduced the National Lottery to that country to encourage the population to spend their money in order to get a pitifully small chance of winning a large jackpot. However, over the last year, interest in this has dimmed, and people are no longer spending the amount they did on this, which means they have more money to pursue other interests.

In order to keep in line with our interests, we have instructed our leaders there to relax the gambling rules within the country. This will increase the amount of gambling, increase the greed of the population, and increase the number of people getting in to serious debt through gambling. All of this will greatly further our Great Work, and should seriously dent any resistance to us as we move forward with our plans.

Saddam Hussein has been briefed to cause more tension in the Middle East. The strife there is doing an excellent job of diverting attention from our work and should help to keep observers and officials away from our excavations in that area. Our archaeological sub-committee will be reporting back shortly on their discoveries in our digs and on their work in rebuilding the Temple. So far, their progress has been excellent, and we now possess some of the original artefacts and writings of the Anunnaki, which we will be available for viewing at our November conference.

There has been some dissent and some resistance from politicians across the world to our Great Work over the last few years. This annoyance has got to stop, and further resistance will not be tolerated. We have made an example in the UK of their Lord Archer and have brought him down. His punishment and trial have been extreme and the focus of a great deal of media attention. Once we have finished with him, the worlds politicians will be much more pliant to our requests.

The leaders from the top eight countries in the world are meeting in Genoa, Italy this week. We have arranged for suitable distraction and demonstrations there to focus the worlds attention. We have our scheduled quarterly meeting at this time in the designated location. There will be no disturbances or breaches of security this time as focus will be on the world leaders. Arrangements have been made for certain factions to react violently to the G8 Summit, and for rioting to take place in the city over the weekend.

This concludes the weekly report for 20th July 2001. The next report will follow in a week with exceptional daily reports delivered as required. To the Mighty Serpent and the completion of the Great Work of Ages.
